Join in the fun!

We've decided to start a family blog so that everyone can see what everyone else is up to. Feel free to add pics, write about events, etc.

Hi grandson and new granddaughter
This is amazing, I just looked at the blog. This age of computers etc, is still very new to me! When I was writing letters I had to put a stamp on them and mail them. Had to find a pay phone to make a call when away from home. Infact when I was growing up, we had only one phone in the neighborhood, and when we were married Pops and I could not even get a phone because of the war.

I thought this blog deal would be very complicated and this old brain would not be able to figure it out. However I think Im doing it right. If I knew how to put a picture on here I would do that too. I just had another birthday added to my life. I have no idea how I got this old so fast! That is a shock to me. I got here much to fast. However I hope to keep having them, as I so want to see what happens with my family for a lot of years yet. Wow I am so blessed I can not count them. All of our children are so supportive of us, and seem to realy care about us, even though we do not get around as we used to. We truly love the two new Mrs Stockman's They treat us as if we were their very own grand parents, and we sure feel they are truly our granddaughters. we feel a great deal of love for Teri, and Andy too also married into the family. Rick became a real son to us a long time ago, Mickey joined us when she was just 14, when she first met Grant. so you see she has been a part of our family for a long long time. sorry Mick didn't mean to make you old.

this has been another busy busy summer. Suz and Rick were here this month and spent my birthday with us. Grant and Mickey Suz, Rick, and pops and I had dinner out, and Grant and Mickey came to the house after. The Silvers gave me some lovely flowers and very interesting books. We loved having them.Rick sure can write nice things, as our Grant and all those in our family! got a ton of cards and wishes from old friends, who lived in my neighborhood when Grant was born. As you all know we have some wonderful young friends in Fresno, who are so attentive and keep us a bit on the young side, and having Grant and Mickey living close, is a real blessing. Pops and I were married 63 years this year, and I wish we could have 63 more, but bet we only make 50 more Ha. When I start writting I never know when to stop, so now is a good time, Hey BJ I need spell check on this blog, can you work that out? Ill add more some day, and for sure I will be checking it from now on.
Blessings Grandma gogo! Oh thank you so much for the nice things you wrote under pops and my picture that is very special.

Oh my next morning, I have to post one more thing, then I will give up , should have posted the whole thing in the Am and not last night, as the old brain stops working. Meant to say. grandson Brent joined the family about 20 years ago, and is a fine grandson in every way.Wonderful to us! Kelly Elisha and Mac were also here this summer. the newly weds are very happy. Kelly and Mac are going to become RN's How smart they are. Kel stayed after everyone left with her Hunter, and worked so hard to get the house in order. she was so very thoughtful. bart put in a mister on our patio making it a bit cooler in the hot fresno weather. So BJ Im sorry to take up so much room, on your blog, but just had to add these last things. I compliment you on the family blog and hope others will comment. Pops does not type hardly at all, so if I can get him to dictate then I can type for him, even though I need a spell check!!!
We wait the birth of our 12th great grandchild. How good is that! Its more than good.
As you can see I really do get carried away, and take up to much of your space! but thats your grandma

Oh my two years since I have put anything on here! We just added a new baby to the clan. That makes 13 great for us. So anxious to see baby grace. There also will be another little girl coming in December to the Justin stockmans, so that will be No. 14 can't wait to hold them in my arms. Bart and I still have lots of company in the summer, and love it. I can tell Im getting older, as my poor kids grand kids and our own children have to pitch in a whole bunch. We missee seeing Kelly and Hunter this summer, also Justins family. I can see I need to get back to this anoter time, as papa Bart needs his dinner. Thank God we still have each other, and enjoy life. More later
