to Disneyland...to Yosemite...been camping...up to Tillamook...read a ton of books, spent some good times with friends and family and are just now gearing up for a hectic fall. I'll be starting school on Monday and am hunting for a part-time job, while BJ is still at it--working at DPA and Hunans.
So, now it's your turn. What have you been doing with all your summer days?

What a great idea I just stumbled on to this blog. What a fun summer you are having, great to see the pictures.
My summer has been good I have not taken any trips but Suz & Mary came to see me and Rick's sister we had a great time at Ricks sisters cottage, and here at my house too.
Then next my cousin Eloise and Dwight came and spent a day and night with me we went to Frankmouth a really fun German town and boy is the food Great.
Jennifer and family and I went to MacKinac Island for the day and we had a great time they make great fudge just ask Suz. I love being here in Mi. But I do miss the rest of my family I miss and love you all. Aunt Kathleen

Well I sure messed up on your special day Brandon. I do hope it was a good one. You have and always will have a special place in our hearts.You truly are a special young Man!!!With good looks talent, and a kind heart!
We are going to Oregon next week, God willing! If I ever learn to put some pictures on here, I will do it. I have written a couple of things on your moms blog so if you want to check them out. Nothing great, but talking a bit about some of pops and my early marrage. Yep we were young once. really we were. How we got this old I will never know. don't want to repete myself, so if you check her blog out, you can check out my notes. wow do I ever need spell check on this thing. We are going to see Betty for a couple days then to see Becky, I hope. When Betty and I grew up, the two of us were always in some kind of trouble, always getting sent away from the table for lughing so much. We used to use her moms bed for a trampiline, and that didn't go over very good. Betty married your pops best friend, so it will be sad not finding him there this time. I have a lot of history with Betty.
Miss you guys. and keep you in our prayers Wrote about our summer on the other one.Cause we sure enjoyed being with so many of the family. We really were blessed! Suz and Rick were here a couple of weeks ago also. So that was good to have them. Pops is in there making eggs and eggo waffels for me, his only cooking skill, but he is sure good at cleaning up, and helping with all the work. He says, love and cheers to all who read this. . How about that!

PS Loved seeing the pictures of your trip last summer and reading your note. I looked for one from Kate, wonder if I did somehing wrong, as I didn't find one.
Not sure where we will spend Christmas this year. How about you?
This is from Lauren she said to tell you that NaNa has a dog thats black and I(Lauren} took her home and I went to the car and my Mom drived me home and I played with her.
And I went to the creek and played and caught frogs and minos, and I went after the creek I went to the toy jeep that can drive and I went in it. from Lauren. This is in Lauren's own words.
